Why lingzhi can treat so
many kinds of illnesses?
This can be understood easily. Each
modern medicine contains only one constituent while lingzhi like other herbal drugs has many bioactive substances. In lingzhi
there are at least 4 major groups of active materials, namely polysaccharides, adenosine, triterpene
and Germanium. Each group has different therapeutic actions. Some act on the immune system. Some contain and
induce apoptosis to cancer cells by affecting electrical potential of cell membrane. Others helps increase oxygen reserve
in body tissue. Lingzhi also is known to be a very potent antioxidant.

The difference between
lingzhi solution from boiling and lingzhi extract powder
The appropriate way
to extract bioactive material from lingzhi should involve 3 stages. First, low temperature is used to heat the lingzhi
mushroom in water. This can avoid destroying heat sensitive substances. Then the lingzhi is boiled with high temperature.
At the last stage alcohol is used to extract what boiling water cannot do. This 3-stage method can preserve and extract
large quantities of useful substances from lingzhi mushroom. The extract is then air-dried to produce highly concentrated
lingzhi powder.
This can explain why
Mr. Chen, the heart patient described earlier, improved only on lingzhi powder.
