Clinical Therapeutic Action of Lingzhi
In China, 39 cases
of angina pectoris, mental depression and hyperlipemia were placed under observation after treatment with lingzhi iodide,
of which 29 cases were complications of hypertension and 6 cases were complications of chronic cardiac infarction. The patients
were prescribed with three daily doses of 10-20% lingzhi iodide preparation, each time 10cc.
The results showed a 43.5% of marked improvement on angina pectoris and mental depression.
The overall success rate was 89.6%, whereas the ineffective rate was merely 10.4%.In Xichuan, it was also reported that lingzhi
preparation was helpful in 120 clinical cases of hyperlipemia, with 55 cases showing remarkable improvements (cholesterol
levels in blood plasma dropped from 200/100mg to 50/100mg), while 17 cases showing mild (cholesterol levels fell 31-50%) and
slight improvements. The overall success rate was 86%.
1. Hypertension
A female patient in Japan
had a high blood pressure reading of 200-140. She took verticilum with lingzhi for a week. During the second week, she stopped
verticilum but continued with lingzhi. The reading dropped to 145-95. She then stopped consumption of lingzhi for the next
5 days, and her blood pressure subsequently rose to 190-130. When she resumed taking lingzhi, the blood pressure stabilized
at 140-90. The Military Medical Collage of Chengdu in China
reported that by prescribing their hypertension patients with lingzhi oral liquid, they observed 18 cases of recovery; of
which 11 cases showed remarkable improvements and another 5 cases were encouraging. The overall success rate was 88.9%.
2. Diabetes
A group of diabetes patients who showed symptoms of fatigue, thirstiness and diminishing
vision were prescribed with lingzhi. Two weeks later, the sugar levels in their blood and urine were reduced, and metabolism
of lipids was normalized. Blood-sugar reading dropped from 173 to 116, cholesterol level from 233 to 179, and B protein from
580 to 465
3. Hepatitis
Peoples Hospital of Hunan used lingzhi
oral liquid to treat 50 cases of patients suffering from hepatitis. After 2 months of consumption, 49 cases were found to
have recovered, achieving an overall success rate of 98%.
